About
I like making complex ideas accessible across disciplines, languages and cultures and am especially interested in open science and science communication.
I think that great research deserves to reach more than just the people who already know where to look. My background in linguistics, social and cultural anthropology and intercultural collaboration has shaped the way I think about communication and made me fascinated by how humans communicate.
I am interested in questions that sit between disciplines such as where linguistics meets AI technology or where the way scientists talk shapes what the public ends up believing.

Outside of writing, I spend my time bouldering and woodworking.
Cooking has been a long-time hobby of mine and I even designed a recipe book of over 100 recipes for private use. Below, you can find two of my all-time favourites.
